Praise Pictures is an independently owned and operated motion-picture and media production company.

At Praise Pictures we've made it our motto (by God's Grace) to make Life Changing, Engaging, Impacting, Soul Winning, Christian Edifying, and God Glorifying films for His purpose.

In the summer of 2008 filming began on Standing Firm, the first feature film from Praise Pictures. It was shot on a shoe-string budget with almost no resources and volunteer cast and crew much like Flywheel, the first film from Sherwood Pictures. Most of the shooting days involved just two crew members with actors helping carry equipment. Although the situation was not ideal, God showed up on a regular basis giving energy and blessing.

In early 2009, we started ChristianFilmTrailers.com, a promo / trailer website specifically for the faith-based Christian market. Filmmakers can get their trailer in front of an audience they wouldn't on their own. The goal in the next 2 years is to make ChristianFilmTrailers.com the "Apple Trailers" of the Christian film world.

On August 24th, 2010, Standing Firm was released on DVD. The reviews since then have been almost universally positive, with many national magazine articles, radio interviews, and a bustling fan base on Facebook of almost 300,000 to show for it.

On January 22, 2011, the Praise Pictures team grew one to two with the marriage of Kyle and Denise (bios below).

In February 2011, development began on a second feature film with hopes to film in the Fall of 2012.

The Team

Kyle Prohaska, President

As President and CEO of Praise Pictures Inc., Kyle Prohaska is responsible for the day to day operations of the company. Ironically (although not uncommon in the independent world) Kyle runs the entire company, it's operations, marketing and productions from the companies home back in Atlanta, GA. We were previously residents of Buffalo, NY.

Denise Prohaska, Secretary

Denise and Kyle were married January 22, 2011 in a wonderful ceremony with family and friends. Denise has joined the Praise Pictures team handling the overall organization of documents and schedules, as well as acting as a sales representative for the company in its selling of DVDs and Church Screening Licenses.

Denise has a Masters Degree in English Literature and plans to put those skills to work in the future as both Kyle and Denise develop future stories, scripts, books, and other assorted projects under the Praise Pictures name.

In December 2011, Denise and Kyle look to welcome their first baby boy, Calvin James Prohaska.
